Going to the gym...aint nobody got time for that! Because were all so busy, with no time to go to the gym, working out at home is the best solution. If youre one of those who thought this cant be done, well good news for you! It can be done and it’s just as effective as going to the gym.

Before you start working out at home, you have to understand how maximize your workout. Make sure your workout includes five important components, all of which you can do at home:

-A warmup.

-A cardiovascular (aerobic) workout.

-Resistance (strength-building) exercises.

-Flexibility moves.

-A cooldown.

A warm-up could be an easy walk outside, or a slow pace on a stationary bike.

For the cardiovascular portion, walk or pedal faster, do step aerobics with a video, or jump rope -- whatever you like that gets your heart rate up.

For the resistance portion, you can do squats, push-ups and abdominal crunches. If youre not into these,  you could work with small dumbbells, a weight bar, bands or tubing.

To increase your flexibility go for some floor stretches or yoga poses.

And finally, your cooldown should be similar to the warm up, work at a low level to bring the heart rate down to a resting state.

Later on, once you feel that youre ready for the next level, you can step up the pace of your workout by doing compound exercises, many examples of which you can find on YouTube.

There’s no need for a gym! Working out can be done in the comfort of your home, listening to your favorite song or even watching your favorite show!
