Technology...a double-edged sword

Live Well

We are in the twenty-first century, known as the era of diverse technology and its pioneering means in various countries of the world. The total dependence of our daily lives on technology has become my lifestyle in all matters and an essential factor in relying on it to complete our tasks in various fields.

Just as technology has positive effects, it has many negative effects. It is no longer confined to electronic business or work and progress in discoveries and inventions, but has become within every home and in the hands of every individual in all societies and of all ages in their various forms.

Technology really helped us a lot - we did not deny it - we were able to reach the moon and learn about studies and discoveries that were not previously possible or possible to reach, but.. we also did not forget that it affected our daily and health lives in a very negative way, as it became just entering a web page From the mobile phone, it is like opening a door to a world full of advertisements, ideas, views, games and many things that attract attention to focus on it and integrate around the intense knowledge of this and try to experience it, which leads some to spend many hours in this full-time world and the methods and possibilities it occupies.

In fact, the use of technology is a “double-edged sword” and each of us is responsible for how to use these two limits, either it affects the individual positively and the ability to control his time and manage the methods used, or it is negative and he plunges into this uncontrolled spiral. For example, fathers and mothers have the ability and ability to control the time their children use these electronic tools.

Here are some factors that will help you avoid the dangers of technology and its negative effects:

Allowed time:

Children starting from the age of three or four.. The Canadian Pediatric Society recommended that the appropriate time recommended for children per day is only one hour in front of electronic screens (tablet - phone - TV), and the researchers cautioned not to increase this period to avoid developing behavioral and mental problems for children and not Exposure to other problems such as stress and lack of sleep.

Adults should pay attention to the time spent using electronic devices and the need to organize time appropriately to deal with these means.

Actual communication:

It is necessary to raise awareness about the importance of actual communication with people instead of communicating via the Internet or through the phone, which leads to rationalizing the consumption of technology use.

-           Playing sports:

Add time in your day to exercise, as it may keep you from using the phone for hours.

Relaxation:

From time to time you should go to relax by traveling or going outside the house for a walk with the family or meditating in nature, this helps you to rationalize your consumption of technology and not consider it the focus of attention.

Each of us has a mind that has the ability to think about what is right and wrong, and our lives are all full of goodness and positive thoughts that must be followed to reach a healthy and stable life. The lack of integration towards luxuries will give us the opportunity to enjoy a decent life...

Use your brain, spend more time with family, family and friends, socializing and bonding will be more successful than a phone call, text message or mailing.
