When was the last time you asked yourself this... Are you happy? If your answer is yes, how can you maintain this feeling?  If no, what can you do to boost your happiness? Happiness is a matter of choice; you have to believe that you deserve to be happy and thus choose to be so. To help you with that, herere a few tips to boost your happiness:

Know yourself and like yourself. True happiness comes from within. The better you know yourself: what it is you love, what inspires you, the happier you will be. Your happiness score will increase if you can begin to accept that the happiness you hope "to get” - after you find your lover, get the job you want, buy the dream home and earn the right money - is already in you.

Smile. Even if its fake, a smile can help improve your mood. That's because our brains associate the activation of the face's “smile muscles” with actual happiness.  According to researchers at DePaul University, when you turn up the corners of your mouth, your brain physiology will change and you'll automatically feel better.

Do a good deed for someone else. Help others to help you. Recent researches show that people who usually volunteer to help others tend to report higher levels of happiness. In fact, even smaller acts of selflessness can have a positive effect on how you feel.

Do what you love. People who love their work usually feel they are making a significant contribution to a cause they believe in. Doing what youre truly passionate about help increasing your happiness score significantly.

We have only one life, and it would be a shame to spend it not feeling happy.
