Eating Healthy

When it comes to having the perfect skin, there’s nothing we wouldn’t do. Whether, it buying those really expensive moisturizers or going to try that new treatment, we leave no stone unturned. Yet, having a good skin doesn’t have to be this hard, as you can simply eat your way to a fabulous skin. Here’s a list of food that would help you nourish your skin from the inside out.

1-Vegetables and fruits.  Veggie and fruits are filled with antioxidants that help protect skin from the cellular damage. Make sure to eat a rainbow of colorful fruit and vegetables and try to have at least five portions a day.

2-Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps with having a strong immune system, radiant skin and helps blemishes heal properly. It’s found in blackcurrants, blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, papaya, strawberries and sweet potatoes.

3-Cut out crash diets. Constantly losing and regaining weight can harm your skin, causing sagging, wrinkles and stretch marks. That’s why it’s advised to stop those crash diets that are usually short in essential vitamins too.

4-Vitamin E. Vitamin E has the ability to protect your skin from oxidative damage and support healthy skin growth. This one can be found in almonds, avocado, hazelnuts, pine nuts and sunflower and corn oils.

5-Drink up. Skin needs moisture to stay flexible. Make sure to drink six to eight glasses of water a day. You can drink any kind of fluids, but water is the best.

6-Good fats. Don't be afraid of fat as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats - the types found in avocados, fish, nuts and seeds - have essential fatty acids which act as a natural moisturizer for your skin, keeping it supple.

Finally, before jumping into that cream in your nightstand, make sure to keep your skin nourished from the inside.
